In order to best serve everyone's space requirements, we ask that you contact Martiza Szekely (name/phone) as soon as possible so that we can send you a merchant reservation form. Merchant space will be available by reservation ONLY.

From The Page (July, 1990):

The Friendship Tourney / Merchant Fair on July 21 & 22 is hosted by the Barony of Fett Burg this year. This celebration of courtesy, beauty, fun, & frivolity will begin in earnest on Saturday morning when it is rumored that 3 "black" Knights will be seeking fair damsels to capture & enslave. Therefore, we will need many brave & noble warriors to challenge these Knights to courteous & honorable combat & win back these precious beauties. After a morning of glorious combat the afternoon will be filled with various contests along with 3 arts & science competitions: 1) a friendship favor intended to be given to someone not of your local group to promote goodwill, 2) a cooking competition where it is not important what you fix, but that you prepare it in a authentic fashion (no coleman stoves), & 3) a story telling competition incorporating the stars in some fashion. All contests & competitions in the afternoon will include prizes to be awarded to the winners. Also, Lord Andrew Silverhill will be holding a heraldic/persona class for those interested in developing their alternate lives. After a full day of activities your appetite can be sated at a buffet style feast hosted by the Shire of Castillo de Los Lobos. Various tasty delicacies will include: BBQ Chicken, Rice w/Chicken & Vegetables, Kolcannon (potato dish), Cucumbers in Sour Cream Sauce, Shepherd's Bread, Green Salad, Tarts, Cookies, Lemonade, & Sun Tea. Adults are $6 (does not include site fee) & children under 10 are $2. Please bring your own feasting gear & a hearty appetite. Tickets may be purchased in advance (only 80 seats are available so this is recommended) from Alienor Flannabhra (address). Please send appropriate amount in check or money order made out to "SCA, Shire of Castillo". But of course Sunday can not be left alone. On Sunday morning please keep your head down as there will be an archery contest, the prize for which is a full sized gold plated arrow. Lastly, for those who just cannot end such a wonderful weekend there will be a boffer war in the afternoon. Please bring your boffers (made per Kingdom regulation) & thirst for glory. Some amenities of the site include hot showers, flush privies, amble shade trees to camp under, & a shallow river to swim in (parents watch your children). Also, remember to bring your pouches because special invitations are going out to many merchants to entice them to let us spend our monies. Location: Camp McConnell (Boy Scout Camp) in Livingston. SITE FEE: $2 per person, feast is an additional $6. Site opens at 10 am on Friday & closes at 7 pm on Sunday. Because this is a Boy Scout Camp NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED. If you bring your pet they must be on a leash & you must clean up after them. The AUTOCRAT is Lord Madoc Hawthorne Sinclair (name/contact info). DIRECTIONS: (omitted). Finally, if you have any questions at all, please feel free to call teh autocrat.

Merchants of the Knowne World please pay heed. The Friendship Tourney/Merchant Faire on July 21 & 22 is hosted by the Barony of Fett Burg this year. This celebration of courtesy, beauty, fun, & frivolity will prove an excellent chance to sell your wares. With no royal lists & no royal courts people should have plenty of time to peruse your commodities. The beautiful part of this event is the lack of an extra merchant fee to pay. You need only donate an item $5 or greater in value to be used as a prize for the various contests. Think of the publicity!! If you call ahead to reserve your location, a parking place close to your set up area will be saved for you.
