From The Page (April, 1989):
Come join us in celebrating May! On May 6, the Canton of Wuduholt be Secg will be hosting its May Revel, at Rowdy Creek Park in Smith River, CA. Site fee is $3.00. This outdoor event will feature a games competition (for all ages), archery, a medieval item raffle, a bribery contest, a sciences competition using items found on site, and an arts competition (anything featuring irises or gillyflowers). If there are enough fighters we will have fighters practice and possibly a mini-tourney. There will be a potluck feast at 3 pm with a contest for best fantasy food, judged on appearance and flavor. The site opens at 10 am and close about 6 pm. The site is discretely wet, and there will be one communal fire ring. It is wheelchair accessible and has no electricity. Keep your animals on leashes at all times. There is a creek suitable for swimming bordering the site, so parents watch your children. There is some sleeping space available, contact the autocrat. For more information, call the autocrat, Judith la Foncee (name/phone), evenings or weekends, or call the seneschal, Briony of Nyentrees (name/phone), weekdays.
Description of this event (if any), taken from The Page, or from memory of at least one person who attended the event.
