From The Page (January, 1990):
It's our 3rd snnusl film festival, held at Nyentrees. Saturday's festivities begin at 11 am with feature film THE SEVEN SAMURAI (uncut). At least 3 films will be shown, so bring munchies for the day. A potluck feast will start about 6 pm. The Canton will supply ample drinks.
There'll be competitions for the best medieval dishes (main dish, fantasy foods, desserts, vegetable/salad) with a RECIPE accompanying it. There MUST be at least 3 entries in a category for the competition to exist; one entry may qualify for more than one area.
This is a DRY SITE. The SITE FEE is $2 per adult, $1 per child, maximum cost for a family not to exceed $5. The AUTOCRAT is Briony of Nyentrees (phone). Nyentrees is in Fort Dick, 9 miles North of Crescent City. (directions omitted) Bring your feast gear for a fun day!
Description of this event (if any), taken from The Page, or from memory of at least one person who attended the event.
