The Barony of Winter's Gate will celebrate the coming of summer once again on May 27-28, at the Chena Lakes Recreation Project near Fairbanks, Alaska. Activities will include a tourney to determine the Captain of the Militia and Heart of Winter's Gate and canoe races, in addition to the usual feasting and general revelry. There will be a site fee (as yet undetermined) to cover the cost of reserving the site. There is also a charge per car to get into the campground and a fee per camping area, which will be paid directly to the camp management.
