From The Page (September, 1989):
House Talgarth, in conjunction with the Shire of Solais Mor, is hosting a Middle-Eastern Dance Workshop and Feast on October 22 at the Livermore Veterans Hall in Livermore. The workshop is being taught by Alexandra King, one of the foremost performers and teachers of Middle-Eastern dancing in the country (we are not making this up). This is a rare opportunity to learn from a world-class dancer, and will benefit any serious student of Middle-Eastern dancing, regardless of experience, although her workshop tends to be structured toward intermediate and advanced dancers.
Following the workshop will be a Middle-Eastern feast in four removes with dancing featuring Alexandra King, and some of the best professional dancers in the Bay area. The feast is being provided by Frobisher's All-Unnatural, Completely non-Authentic Middle-Eastern Cuisine. Both the workshop and the feast are reservation only, no tickets will be available at the door. Tickets will be available at Mists Coronet and October Crown, or by writing or calling the autocrats. The workshop fee is $15, the feast is also $15, both are $25. Directions to the site and the event schedule will be published in the October Page. For more information contact the autocrats: Genevieve (name) and Owen Trevelyan (name), (contact info).
Description of this event (if any), taken from The Page, or from memory of at least one person who attended the event.
