This year's Mists Spring Investiture will be a two-day event, held at the Two Rocks Coast Guard Station near Petaluma on May 13-14. The site will open early on Friday for set up and the site fee will be $4 per person, half price for children under 12. Please see next month's Page for the specific times. The last court of Thier Highnesses Drew and Siobhan will begin at 11 am Saturday. Principality Arts competition will be banners and Sciences will be sponsoring a display. Two Rocks is an active government installation that generously allows us to use their facilities. They have certain regulations and it is our responsibility to honor those rules with the courtesy that is so much a part of the SCA. SITE REGULATIONS: 1) all cars MUST be insured (public liability and property damage) and proof of liability insurance should be produced on request. If you cannot provide proof of insurance, you will have to park outside the base and have your tourney gear transported inside by someone else. 2.) NO PETS!!! This will be strictly enforced, so please leave Fido of Fee Fee or Gunga Din at home. 3.) DON'T SPEED! The posted speed limits MUST be adhered to, especially the 10 MPH limit in the housing areas. 4.) NO CAMP FIRES! 5.) NO PORJECTILE WEAPONS and no live ammunition, and 6) The lake is NOT suitable for swimming. Mists Spring Investiture will be held on May 13 at Weekes Park in Hayward. (Please be aware that this is a change in site from what was published last month) The site will open at lOam. The site fee is $4.00. The last court of Thier Highnesses Drew and Siobhan will begin at 1 pm and the Investiture of Their successors will begin at 2:30 pm. The revel hall opens at 4 pm. There will be a potluck dinner at 5 pm. Please bring food for 6-8 people by legal last name: A-G, salads, bread, cheeses; H-L, meats main dishes; M-S, desserts; T-Z, Vegetables, rice, potatoes. There are limited cooking facilities, crock pots are encouraged. The hall closes at 10 pm. Clean-up will begin at 9:30 pm.
