On July 29, the Canton of Montagne du Roi is having their 2nd Annual Midsummer tourney and feast. The feast site, the Masonic Hall, opens at 4 pm. The east will start promptly at 6 pm. This is a damp site. Sleeping space will be available for those who wish to stay for the prize tourney the next day. Tickets cost $7.00, and there will be a limited number of tickets sold. Tickets are available from most Darkwood seneschals and the autocrats. No tickets will be sold at the door. No tickets after July 1. Parking at the feast hall is limited to surrounding side streets.
The tourney site, Lasuna Grande Park, will open at 10 am Sunday with lists open at 11 am. There will be a list fee of $1.00. The tourney will be round robin. There will be a prize for best overall fighter, most chivalrous, best death, ladies favorite, and possible others.
