Hawks Haven will once again host a tourney for the prizes of two turkeys, one for the best blted fighter, and one for the best un-belted fighter. Other activities include a bake sale, the ever-popular groveling contest, a helm lunch auction (Gentlemen, please bring a lunch; ladies, please bring your appetites and purses), a cooking contest for period recipes with nuts (open only to those who have not won a contest), and a boffer fighting tourney with prizes for men, women, and children's levels (bring boffers and face protection if you have them.).
The event will be held at Christmas Hill Park, in Gilroy, the site opens at 10:00 am (lists at 11 :00) and the fee is $3.00, For information get in contact with the Autocrat, Gareth Lionmane at (phone).
