The Barony of Fettburg invites you to open the Yule season at the St. Nicholas Children's Revel and Kissing Bush Potluck. The smalls' (under 12) afternoon festivities include a puppet show, craft activities, and a treasure hunt led by a real live pirate! (Parents, the site fee for your child will be a wrapped gift under $5.00 for the hunt.) The site opens for the children's revel at 1:00 pm and closes 11:00.
Come find out what a Kissing Bush is! The evening's revelry includes a period cooking competition (desserts), most festive garb, most entertaining skit (scripts provided), and the December Round of the Acanthus Leaf Arts and Sciences Competition Cycle (Those interested in this competition please contact the Minister of Arts and Sceinces, Malcolm Ruairidth of Black Oak at (phone) for details.). Dinner will be followed by a Court and dancing.
The Potluck starts at 4:00. Dishes should be co-ordinated with the Autocrat in advance. The meat dishes will be provided by the Barony. Please bring a side dish or dessert to serve 10 people. Bring your own feast gear. Kitchen facilities are available. The site is the United Lutheran Church on Northgate in Manteca. (ALCOHOL IS NOT ALLOWED ON THIS SITE.) The site fee is $3.00 for adults, see above for smalls' fee.
