From The Page (December, 1989):
Lords and Ladies, pray take heed! We will celebrate the season's glad tidings at Viking Hall, (address). Their Royal Majesties King Christian and Queen Susan will be joining us in our celebration. The theme is High Court in Silver and/or Gold.
The following sequence is the plan for the day: 10:00--Hall opens, 11:00--Fighters who wish to enter the lists don armor (Yes, and wear it to Court!), 12:00--0pening Court followed by Baroness' Champion Tournament, 4:00--Nuptials for Lord Dresden & Mistress Rolynnda (please bring live steel for a sword arch in the ceremony), 6:00--Formal Court, and 8:30--Feast. There are many activities scheduled, so keep the above in mind. The entrance fee for the Tournament will be a Christmas ornament to be presented to Viscountess Vanora. There will be a Christmas Ornament Competition with four categories: Found Ornaments, Crafted Ornaments, and On-Site Ornaments (adult or child). There will be a Garb Competition, with the Royalty choosing. The six members of the presiding Royalty will each be giving a token prize for garb in silver and/or gold.
Gold Key WILL NOT be here, so make reservations with Gold Key if you will need their service. You should call Gold Key Deputy Mora of Shadowoods Keep (name/phone) between 6-10 pm and make arrangements to select and pick up your garb.
