Eskalya will host a May Revel on May 6, at (address), Eagle River, Alaska. The site will open at 9 am and close when the last person goes home. Please bring your pavilion! We would like a real medieval atmosphere. Some of the activities planned are a tourney to decide the baroness' Champion, dancing, including a competition, an outdoor bardic, a quest, a backgammon tourney, an on-site butterfly construction cometpetition, a contest for best dessert, a competition for the best floral in any mode, a household setting competition, a poetry/song competition and an 11th-century garb competition. Site fee is $5.00 per person, $2.50 for children. Please contact the autocrats, Bran McNish "Macfluff" and Gwynneth McMorn of Eagle's Eyre (names/phone). Make your checks payable to the SCA.
