Gypsy Encampment -- Eskalya

Join the Barony of Eskalya as they set up summer camp for gypsies, traders, and other travelers on June 9 to 11 at Centennial Park Group Campground in Anchorage, Alaska. Bring your closet! We will have Flanna's Flea Market, where barter and open generosity will be encouraged and credit and IOU's at seller's risk! The site fee is $5.00 for adults, children 6-12, $2.50 and children 2-6, $1.00. Family rate (4 or more) is $12.00. Site opens at 4 pm Friday for set up, gate closes at 11 pm and reopens Saturday at 10 am. Vehicles will be allowed on site only to unload. There will be a stew Friday night and feast Saturday will be potluck finger foods. There are no refrigeration or cooking facilities. Please bring campstoves if you have them! Site is discretely wet, please, period containers only. There will be a boffer tourney Saturday, also an axe throw, board games, and some sort of archery contest. There will be a campfire and bardic Saturday evening. There will be a contest for the best medieval travelers story. A copy of your story should be given to the autocrat beforehand. Sunday will have woods and longboat battles.
