Castillo de los Lobos is hosting a tourney and revel at the Eagle's Lodge and grounds in Chowchilla, Ca. Site fee is $5.00 per person 12 and over (day fee $3.00), $1.00 per child 2-11 (to cover activities), children under two free. The site opens at 7 pm Friday. Blanket Tourney and archery competition Saturday. In the evening, there wll be a feast for a $5 donation (bring your own feast gear). When the sun fades, the revel of the season will occur with many contests, such as ankle kissing, best battle cry, most original cloven fruit, best "No S---, I was there" story, and a huge bardic cirde. Merchants are welcome (no additional fee). Please contact head autocrat. For the blanket tourney, all fighters please bring a prize (cost $5 to $20) and first place gets first choice, second place gets second choice, etc. Organized activities for ages two to 11 will be Saturday for approximnately 2-3 hours, including "period" games, music, crafts and dancing. There will also be a magic show.
