Kelly's Kamp in Lake County will be the site for October Crown. The address is (omitted). The site will open at noon on Friday, September 30, and close at 6 pm on Sunday, October 2. The site fee is $5.00 per person, infants free. The site has portable water, flush privies, coin operated showers, fixed barbeques, and also the Kelly's Kamp mini store where you can get ice, beer, soft drinks, snacks and the like. There is also a creek and a man-made swimming hole. The creek will most likely be dry this time of year and on the other side of the creek there are more camping spaces. This will be designated as the quiet end of camp. It is a little further away from where the eric will be set up. Merchants are okay. PARENTS ALERT: The site is bounded on one side by Scotts Valley Road and by the creek on the other. The swimming hole is 12 feet deep at one end.
No open fires will be allowed, with the possible exception of the bardic circle. ALL sources of heat (hibachis, stoves, lanterns, candles, etc.) MUST be kept OFF THE GROUND and NEVER LEFT UNATTENDED! Let's remember fire safety at all times, please. Dogs are okay, but they MUST remained leashed at all times.
