From The Page (June, 1988):
On August 6, the Principality of the Mists Games will be held in the Shire of Esfenn, at Weekes Park In Hayward. It's time to start thinking about teams, perhaps one from each group (or several smaller groups) in the Mists. There are going to be many games and contests for fighters, nonfighters and children alike, including Joue de Ball, Name that Ceremony, Charlot Races and Random Injury Combat, to name but a few. I am looking for sponsors for some of the contests and games. This year, there will be a potluck revel afterward in a hall located on the park grounds, where the bardic contest will be conducted and the winners will be announced. If you would like more information and/or to sponsor a game or contest, contact me, Iomhar MacThaimhis (contact info omitted). Both numbers have an answering machine, so please leave a message.
