Mists Spring Investiture

May 13-15, 1988 (AS XXIII)

Spring Investiture is going to be held at the Two Rock Coast Guard Station in Petaluma. The dates will be May 13-15, 1988. Because this is Federal property, proof of insurance will be necessary to enter the facility. There is also a small lake that should be noted by people bringing smalls. Spring Investiture is going to be held at the Two Rock Coast Guard Station in Petaluma. The dates will be May 13-15, 1988. The site fee is $4.00 per person, with children under 12 free. Being Federal property, please take note of the following: 1) proof of insurance will be required to drive onto the site, 2) the speed limit of 10 mph in residential areas will be strictly enforced, 3) motorcyclists must wear helmets and eye protection, 4) no pets will be allowed, and 5) no open ground fires are permitted. Parents with smalls: there is also a small lake that should only be admired at a discrete distance. DIRECTIONS: (omitted). Volunteers are needed as constables. If you are interested, contact the Principality Constable (Kelly Cooper) (phone omitted). If you have any questions, contact the co-autocrat Scott Clifton at (phone omitted) from 6 pm to 10 pm, or write me at (omitted). The Sciences competition for Mists Investiture will be "ornamentors" -- things used to decorate other things. For instance, dyes, paints, needles, brushes, leatherworking tools and quills. The contestants will serve as judges. They will evaluate each entry and place them in the following categories: Level One: Modern technique, materials and design. Poor workmanship. Level Two: Modern technique and materials. Period design. Good workmanship. Level Three: Modern technique or materials. Period materials or technlque. Period design. Very good workmanship. Level Four: Period technique, materials and design. Excellent workmanship.
