Each dish should feed eight people. There will be entertainment throughout the meal, and
dancing will be taught afterward. People are requested to bring banners to hang in the
hall. Grun der Spitzenkloppler will have a demonstration table on period button making.

DIRECTIONS: (omitted)
The Page School Session for Mists Fall Investiture will be Order of Precedence, including
Kingdom and Principality awards. The session will begin at 2 pm. Please contact Lucia
die Naherin at (phone) for more information.
Silver Spoon at Mists Investiture is for dishes using the princely spice saffron. If your
budget does not run to the finest saffron, you can find bulk pack saffron (carthamus
tinctorius) for herb tea in health food stores. A copy of Elinor Fettiplace's Receipe Book
will go to the winner of the competition. For more information, contact William Darcy at
(phone).
There will be a competition for Food Presentation at the Mists Investiture potluck.
Presentation adds a great deal to how we perceive our food. Something that looks good
will often seem to taste even better. Many dishes on potluck tables are uninspired or not
medieval in appearance (Tupperware is not period, although usefull). Take this
opportunity to be creative with your contribution. Presentation includes, but is not limited
to, the dishes you use to serve in, how the food is arranged on the table, and decoration of
the food itself, such as subdeties. Dress up your food! Also, thanks to all who entered the
favor competition at Coronet. There were 15 entries. The winner was Genevieve de le Mer
Bleu, for her handmade, hand-embroidered suede glove.
