On October 8 and 9, the Province of Golden Rivers will host a war! The site is (address omitted). The site opens Friday, 4 pm and closes Sunday at 6 pm. Site fee is $3.00 for the weekend or $2.00 for one day. There will be no pets, no open fires, no hunting. Carpool if possible, as parking may be tight. Schedule of battles includes: open field, ship to ship, ford, bridge, rolling hills, castle, earth gate and moving ship battle. No archery or ballistas, but javelins will be included in most battles. Bring spears and pole arms of up to 7 1/2 feet as pikes will be excluded from some battles. Morning court Saturday is at 9:30 am with listen-up immediately following and first battle is at 11 am.
