The innkeeper has promised there will be hearty food and robust ale, minstrels, singers, pipers, dancing nad many other pleasant diversions.

Advance ticket sales are $7.50. Send check or money order and S.A.S.E. to Dave Wood, (address omitted). Please make checks payable to "Province of Golden Rivers." Map and directions will be in the next issue of the Page. Please direct questions to the autocrat, Elrik Skap Vargr, at (phone).

From The Page (October, 1988):

From the moment our stout innkeeper welcomes you and ushers you to a cozy table in the back, and until our even stouter bouncer assists you out the back door accompanied by good-natured hooting cat calls of your new-found, back alley companions, you will experience nothing but the greatest enjoyment from your stay at the Willing Wench Tavern. The Willing Wench Tavern offers divers pleasures to entertain and sustain the weary traveler. There will be bounteous culinary delights that will stave off the most ravenous of winter hungers. The Bill of Fare reads as such: First course: shortbreads, bread with butter, hearty lentil soup, bangers or chicken in a mustard sauce, peas and onions with sippets. Second course: roast beef with French wine sauce, seasoned rice, braised honeyed carrots, raisin bread pudding. Dessert is apple flan with creme. Supported by hot, spiced apple cider, this bounteous feast should brace and uphold the brave pilgrim until his next stop on his winter's journeying. To lighten the spirit after such feasting, there will be a fine assemblage of entertainers. With the likes of singers, pipers bards and musicians never before seen in so humble a roadside inn. After all the feasting and entertainment the hall will be cleared for dancing. Tickets are $7.50 until November 1, after which they will be $8.00. Cutoff date for ticket sales is November 13. NO tickets will be sold after that date. NO banquet tickets will be sold at the door. To order tickets: send check or money order and a S.A.S.E. to David Wood, (address). Please make all checks payable to "Province of Golden Rivers." For further Information, please contact the autocrat, Elrik Skap Vargr, at (phone).
