St. Patrick In a Toga Revel -- Eskalya

March 18, 1989 (AS XXIII)

From The Page (March, 1989):

St. Patrick did NOT drive the romans out of Ireland! In celebration of this erroneous and undocumented fact, the Barony of Eskalya is creating the first St. Patrick In a Toga Revel, on March 18 at the home of Vandra Lyon's Mane in Anchorage, Alaska. Gather nigh to find out the answers to these driving questions: What would a Roman wear to combat the harsh northern weather (a costuming contest)? What does Sir Kylson wear under his toga and how did you find out ( a storytelling contest sponsored by his lady)? Who is the best fizzy drink guzzler (beer provided, bring your own sodas)? Will Sharane wear something besides amber and woad? (A matter of curiosity?) For potluck and map questions, contact one of the autocrats, Sharane du Kondrak (phone), or Kylson Skyfyre, (phone).

Description of this event (if any), taken from The Page, or from memory of at least one person who attended the event.
