From The Page (August, 1988):
Rogues and wenches pay heed: August 6 you will be welcomed to the event held in your honor while our law-abiding counter-personas take a break. The site is Mac Chalet, on Elmendorf AFB (or the Russian Jack Girl Scout Camp if we get bumped from the chalet). The site will open at noon, and the fee is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children 12 years old and under. Babes in arms are free. The autocrat is Penelope O'Suileabhaln (phone). There will be a prize for the best developed, best dressed, best in-character rogue. Early munchies will be provided. The picnic style will be stone soup accompanied by basic rogue fare as follows: By first letter of SCA name: A--F, bread; G--L, cheese; M--R, dessert; S--Z, munchies (vegetables, fruit or whatever) Punch and hot fruit-mead (nonalcoholic) will be provided. There will be a boffer weapon tourney for the El Boffo Champion: a four-way tug of war, a quest to save the village, disguise making, gambling for/with Chips, dancing (Combat Karabushka), and a bardic with the Best Failed Thieving Story.
Description of this event (if any), taken from The Page, or from memory of at least one person who attended the event.
