House Sea Rose is pleased to announce that the Barony of Eskalya's annual May Revel will be held on May 7 at the chalet beside the Zoo. Site fee will be $5 for adults, $2.50 for children 6-12, and six and under free. Potluck dishes are assigned by first letter of mundane surname as follows: A-H, main dish; I-R, desserts; S-Z, side dishes. Bring a silk flower for the May Garland. Most of the activities will be outdoors, so bring tourney seats, rugs, etc. We will have courts, dancing, heraldry consulting, questing and bardic, as well as the following contests: Cooking - poultry and cheese in any mode (except limburger!); Beverages -- nonalcoholic spring punch; Poetry -- English or Italian sonnets on Springtime and Courtly Love; Needlework -- on-site, fabric flowers done at home, roses by lords, birds by ladies.; new bannerslwall hangings; unprofessional Juggling; arm wrestling and dancing, Baroness' Choice. Persons interested in Dragon's Nest for children under six should contact the autocrat as early as possible, so we can plan to have one. There will be a Page School for those over six.
