Protectorate Tourney -- Borderwinds

On Saturday, July 9 a new Protector will be found in Borderwinds at Waller Park in Santa Maria. There will be a tournament held with a regal prize for best overall winner and the title and prize for highest scoring fighter going for the Protectorate. Lists are open at noon with fighting to begin promptly at 1 pm. The rules for fighting for the title of Protector are as follows: must be a paid SCA member, must be carrying the favor of a lady for male fighters and the favor of a lord for female fighters, the person you fight for must also be a paid SCA member, and you must be able to attend ALL Borderwinds events for the next year. The winner of the title Protector and his/her consort will preside over our Court of Love to be held some time in February of next year.
