From The Page (April, 1987):
There will be a Spring Offensive in the Shire of Selveirgaard, in Palmer, Alaska on May 16 and 17 at Finger Lake Wayside. The site will open for set up on Friday evening.
There is overnight camping. Bring your own firewood. Campfires are only allowed in the designated areas. Boating is at your own risk. Flush privies are available.
Lunch and the meat for Saturday dinner will be provided. The following assignments for the rest of the food are by mundane last name: A-H, Breads; I-P, vegetables; and Q-Z, desserts. Brunch will be served on Sunday.
There will be contests for war pennants; hand held savories (meat pies, etc.), and warming beverages.
Since the site is on a lake, parents are warned to watch their children.
The site fee will be $7 for adults and $5 for children if paid before April 30, afterward $10 for adults and still $5 for children. Checks should be made out to (omitted) and sent to Aislynn of Dragonslair (contact info omitted).
