Twenty-second Year

Southern Shores vs. Esfenn

May 30, 1987 (AS XXII)

From The Page (April, 1987):

The Province of Southern Shores and the Shire of Esfenn invite all fighters and camp followers to war maneuvers on May 30, at Ed Levine County Park in Milpitas. Individuals as well as war units are encouraged to come and test their valor in the ranks of the Vert and Or armies, to be chosen at the beginning of the day.

The site opens at 8 a.m. Armor inspection will begin at 8:30. Sides will be chosen at 10 a.m., so please be there to be counted. A one hour resurrection battle will begin the day's combat. Planned activities include bridge battles, and a war unit team melee; individuals not belonging to a group will be teamed together.

Site donation is $2 to cover the cost of reserving the field, plus a $2 per car gate fee. Unfortunately, Santa Clara County has disallowed all archery and javelins. Also, no merchants will be allowed in the park. Marshals will be needed. If you are a qualified marshal or have any questions call the autocrats, Drew Fortesque (phone) or Gerstan Heah Leah (phone).
