Twenty-second Year

Viking Faire -- Fett Burg

July 18-19, 1987 (AS XXII)

From The Page (May, 1987):

So, you're not sure about this Viking fair? The games ... the fun ... bunches. The merchants ... Edelweiss, Bliss, Tanberg Blades, Kirby. Don't forget the fighting. On Sunday the Todtrotten challenge all comers to a shieldless pike melee at high noon.

Also, there will be the Viking bride pricing and bargaining of Bodo and his betrothed Ot Jabali, followed by the lawgiving and the wedding feast.

If you are a merchant, call the autocrat. Merchants are encouraged to donate a prize for the games.

Non-fighters, the competitions are set so that all should have a good time. A chance to practice the subtle arts of looting, etc.

For more information, contact the autocrat, Sine as Monadh, (contact info omitted).

Description of this event (if any), taken from The Page, or from memory of at least one person who attended the event.
