Location: Viking hall (address omitted). Site fee $6. Site opens at 11am.
A round robin tourney will be held with all fighters combatting all others. Weapons will be drawn by lot with the final rounds having some special items of interest. Each round will have the fighters drawing a card for fate. Those fighters with deaths in the hole may be able to redeem themselves at evening court.
Evening court will be a metals and black court. Though we request costume of this sort it is not necessary.
A masked dance after dinner will request masks for Creatures of the Night or night colored creatures (bats, cats, rats, black leopards, wolves, etc.). We will have supplies for a mask making competition.
Cooking contest is pumpkin in any mode. Also a contest will be held for carved pumpkins, to be used on tables at dinner.
Dinner will be roasted giant pheasant with stuffing. Please bring the following by your SCA first name: A-I Vegetables, J-P Desserts, Q-Z snack or one-bite foods.
Several new games will be unveiled as well as an indoor version of nine-pins.
Volunteers are requested for assistance with decorations. You are remidned to bring the following: dishes, napery, your carved pumpkin with candle, board games, masks, your potluck dish & site fee.
