The Shire of Cloondara welcomes all to their fourth annual archery competition and field banquet, on Saturday, June 13, in Golden Gate Park. Contests of skill, target games and the banquet will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Bring your war bow and combat arrows, as standard war rules will apply to equipment in the combat weapons target contest, which will include wolfpack attack, monster hunt, shoot the viper, and speed shooting. IKAC rounds will also be shot with sharps, and combat archers will be able to get authorized to fight under the revised war rules. No combat will take place at this event, but archers are encouraged to wear their archery armor.
The potluck field banquet will begin around 3 p.m. There are no tables at this site, so bring your tournament furniture. This site is near the beach, so it gets windy. No fires, no site fee. Pets and children should be restrained. There will be a revel at Elayna's after the tourney.
