From The Page (January, 1987):
Come one, come all to the Sebastopol Veteran's Hall at (address omitted), on February 7. Help us to recreate a Grande Masque as was popular during the reign of Her Gracious Majesty, Elizabeth the First of England.
Dress as your favorite saint or sinner, historical figure or mythical beast, as long as it existed or was written about prior to 1650 you've got it made. (Yes, gentlemen, Lady Godiva will be there.) So come and banish your mid-winter blahs with dancing, entertainment, dancing, games and more dancing.
The site will open at 6:30 p.m. and will close at 11:30 p.m. The site fee will be $1 and a plate of "finger food". Please provide your own drinkables. There are no kitchen facilities on site.
To arrange for crash space call Ceinwen of Wolfhaven (phone). For other information call the autocrat Elspeth of Seal Cove (contact info omitted).
Description of this event (if any), taken from The Page, or from memory of at least one person who attended the event.
