Come one and all to Lion's Hall for a Viking Feast. It will be held on September 20 at the Mac Chalet on Elemendorf AFB in Anchorage. The site will open at noon and close at midnight. The site fee will be $2.
Since summer will soon be over and the time has come to mend battle worn armor and re-caulk the dragon ships, the raiders of House SeaRose invite all to come and feast, revel and enjoy songs and tales of the summer's exploits.
There will be games and prizes, for our raiding has been profitable. Among the booty are silver and ivory jewelry, crystal goblets, trinket boxes and three yards of wonderous fabric from the fabled east, also games and other goodies. To gain this wealth all you have to do are typical viking things like: steal sheep (teams of four); hurling a sert; throw knives and axes; participate in the following contests: most authentic costume; most creative kidnapping; tell a hard luck raiding story; Morgan's whim; Flanna's whim and timed beer chugging.
The feast will be potluck by last names -- A-H appetizers, I-N desserts, O-Z main dish.
There will also be an axe tourney for the fighters.
For more information contact Morgan or Flanna at (phone omitted).
