Baroness' Championship -- Earngyld

Lords, ladies and gentles, welcome. You are invited to witness the Barony of Esklaya select a new Baroness' Champion by contest of arms. Come all and witness the prowess of our lords and the beauty of our ladies.

The baroness has announced that the entry fee for the tourney shall be a painted shield and a one foot by three foot pennant to be displayed. All fighters are welcome to compete for the honor of becoming baroness' champion.

To honor the new champion, a feast is declared. Those who wish to partake of the feast are asked to bring a pot-luck dish to add to the variety of delicacies offered.

Along with the tournament and the feast, the following contests will be held: archery, wrestling, a treasure hunt for ladies, a contest to choose the most chivalrous lord and the most gentle lady, and at the bardic circle a best re-telling of the day's events (brag, brag, brag).

This tournament will be held on June 28 at the Russian Jack Girl Scout Camp on ... (omitted). The festivities will commence at 11 a.m. and there will be a site fee of $1. The autocrats are Llywellan ab Taliesan and Keiri Llynclys (contact info omitted).
