From The Page (September, 1986):
A celebration of the Baroness' birthday will be held on October 4 and 5 at Togowoods Girl Scout Camp in Wasilla. The site fee will be $3.
Activities shall include a tourney, archery competition, and grand melees. Night fighting would please the Baron greatly.
The tourney format will be the Baroness' favorite: all weapons are by lot for every round and round robin. The more weapons the merrier, and the more possible combinations. All fighters are asked to have a surcoat with badge or device or at least their chosen heraldic colors. Kingdom of the West armor standards will be enforced.
The evening activities shall include a masked revel, with prizes for best female and male costumes and most beautiful masks. The theme is beasties of wood and legend.
The cooking contests are anything with raspberry; any kind of cake; and best warming beverage.
Dress warmly for the season and the activities. Bring overnight sleeping gear and plenty of munchies and beverages. Some will be provided, but not everything.
Please bring candles and lamps, games, a dish for the feast, and wood for the fire. This is a primitive site, so plan accordingly.
For planning purposes, please let the Baroness know if you plan to attend. For further information, or any questions call Aryana Silknfyre at (contact info omitted).
Description of this event (if any), taken from The Page, or from memory of at least one person who attended the event.
