Archers, take heed. The Shire of Cloondara prays that all our most welcome to join with us in our third annual Archery Contest and Field banquet, on June 7. Contests of skill, fantasy target games and a catered or potluck banquet on the field will take place from noon 'til sunset on the Archery Field in golden Gate Park.
Bring your war bow and combat arrows as standard war rules will apply to equipage in our combat weapon target contests, which will include a wolfpack attack, monster hunt and speed shooting. Competitors are encouraged to wear full armor, although there will be no actual combat. IKAC rounds will be shot using standard wooden target arrows, so if interested get copies of the rules beforehand.
The field banquet will be at three. You may choose to join the potluck or purchase a period Tuscan banquet prepared by Echri Oilean. The menu includes Tuscan chicken, stratticelli, antipasto, homemade bread and much more. This will be by advance reservation only. Reservations close on May 27. Enclose an SASE for the tickets to be returned. Reservations (more details omitted). There will be a revel after the event.

The Shire of Cloondara prays that all are most welcome to join us in our third annual Archer Competition and Field banquet to be held on Saturday, June 7. Contests of skill, fantasy target games, and a catered or pot-luck banquet on the field will all take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the archery field in Golden Gate Park.
Bring your war bow and combat arrows, as standard war rules will apply to equippage in the combat weapon target contest, which will include the wolfpack attack, monster hunt, shoot the viper, and speed shooting. IKAC rounds will also be shot with sharps, and combat archers will be able to get authorized to fight under the new revised war rules. No combat will take place at this event.
The field banquet will take place around three p.m., so please bring pot-luck dishes. Resevations for the Tuscan style menu closed on May 27th.
Pray do bring period field furniture, as there aer no existing tables on site, and remember that the field can get windy. There will be a revel afterward at Elayna's, so pace yourselves. There will be no fires or gate fees and dogs and children must be restrained. The archery field is off (omitted).
