From The Page (October, 1986):
The shires of Caer Darth and Montogne du Roi invite one and all to join them in a celebration of All Hallow's Eve on Saturday, November 1 near Santa Cruz. Activities will begin at 10 a.m. and will include fighting and games during the day, with a potluck revel and dancing in the evening. There will be a contest for the scariest, funniest and most original Jack-o-Lanterns. The site fee is $1.
This event will be held at Boomeria in Santa Cruz. Boomeria is the home of Preston Boomer, and over the years many wonderful things have been built on the property, including a fortress, a keep, catacombs, a guillotine and a 2500-pipe organ.
Dinner will be potluck, so bring a dish to feed six to eight people. The food assignments are as follows: by mundane last name, A-G salads and breads; H-R meats and main dishes; S-Z dessert.
