The Principality of the Mists will hold its Fall Investiture on November 9 at San Felipe Community Center, (address omitted), Hayward, CA. This will be an all day event with the hall opening at 11 a.m. and closing at 11 p.m. The closing time is absolute and all good gentles should start clearing the hall prior to 11 p.m. The site fee is $2 per person. Wine is acceptable, but no beer or hard liquor is allowed. No smoking in the building, please.
Weather permitting, there may be some outdoor activities in the surrounding park. Dinner will commence with a potluck in the round so if you plan on participating please bring a dish to serve 6 to 8. There is a small kitchen for warming food and gentles are requested to keep the area clean and uncluttered to insure maximum usage by all. Dinner will be followed by much dancing and merriment, (merriment to be provided by the populace, please).
The competition for Silver Spoon will be a dish using natural food coloring. For more information contact Helen Brownberry (phone omitted).
Principality Arts will sponsor a display table and demonstrations. Gentles with skills and talents they would like to share please contact the new Principality Minister of Arts, Ava Trudine of Tregoenning, (phone omitted).
Principality Sciences will sponsor a contest for the best display of a group's heraldic device in a medium other than any type of needlework or illumination. Suggestions are woodworking, leatherworking, subtleties, etc. Use your imagination. Extra points will be given to group endeavours. The Principality Exchequer's office will once again be holding its annual Misties
auction to raise money for various projects. Aricia Kirsten Deveraux and Megan
nic Alister will be procuring, soliciting, visiting you at events
to plague, beset, request donations of articles to be auctioned.
Please be generous. For your amusement and amazement His Majesty Michael has graciously
offerred His services as auctioneer.
