The Lord Defender of Golden Rivers and his consort, Tor and Cassandra, wish to invite all within hearing and traveling range to their Province on the day of Saturday, November 30, to teh Fair Oaks Parks Community Center in the town of Fair Oaks. The castle gates are to be flung open at 4 p.m. to welcome all to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the founding of Golden Rivers. At 5:30 p.m. we will begin serving an eight course meal, including golden onion soup, saffron bouillabaise, roasted cockatrice, custard pudding with rose petals, savory vegetables, a sublety of poisson glase, and more. Make checks for $7.50 per person payalbe to S.C.A. Province of Golden Rivers, and send them to (address omitted). All requests must be postmarked no later than November 17. If you wish to come to the event and not participate in the banquet, there will be a $1 site fee. Positively no tickets will be sold at the door. All and sundry are called upon to attend the greatest display of all things golden that they can create, devise and accumulate. The guest with the finest collection of things golden will be rewarded. There will be a raffle of a golden treasure box, the porceeds of which will go to the coffers of the Province of Golden Rivers. The theme of the banquet is "a golden harvest - a gothic feast spectacle - 1400-1460." Please come join us for a wonderful meal and evening of entertainment.
