From The Page (April, 1985):
The Mists-Cynagua War will occur on the weekend of April 6th and 7th in the Province of Golden Rivers. The War will be held at Goethe Park in Sacramento County. The site opens at 3:30 pm on Friday. The rangers will be collecting a $2 per car fee at the gate. A $2 per person donation will be asked to help cover the use fee for the park.
The American River is very close to the site, so parents of small children are asked to arrange to have adequate supervision of their children.
There is no selling of any food or merchandise allowed, as we were unable to obtain a permit for such sales.
There will be archery allowed, so fighters, please bring appropriate helm covers.
The Battles will consist of a bridge battle and ford battle and a resurrection battle for the rest of the weekend.
Rules will be passed out at the site.
