Championship Tournament -- Fett Burg
July 21-22, 1984 (AS XIX)

From The Page (July, 1984):

The humble and peace-fearing -loving folk of Fett Burg are planning to choose a Baronial Champion (by contest of arms) on the 21st and 22nd of July at the U.S. Naval Communications Station, Daggett Field, Rough and Ready Island, Stockton.

All comers are welcome. There will be a $1 murage tax per person (site fee). Directions: (omitted). Setup will be at 9am on Saturday. For ease in passing the gate PLEASE put a sign in your window that says SCA, and obey the 30 mph speed limit.

The winner of the tournament must be willing to fight for the Barony on request, must be approved as a compentent fighter (marshals have the final say), and support the Barony in action and word.

There will be an arts contest Saturday pm, Savory Stew.

There will be a contest for best Baronial Slogan (positive please).

There will be a backgammon tournament.

And finally, activities for all children (no tax for children under 10).

We will have an evening court and revel with much merry-making. (We will possibly have a beverage tavern.)
