The CANTON OF BORDERWINDS bits the gentlefolk of the Known World to come feast with us and make
merry at our Court of Love on March 16, in Sisquoc at the Sisquoc Grange Hall. Our tempting menu
Chicken in wine
Leeks and rice
Carrots in honey sauce
Spiced apple tarts
The festivities include our Court of Love, to be followed by contests, dancing, and much fun. Contests planned are: best tribute of poetry, and best tribute of music to our Lady of Love and Beauty; men's ankle turning; best use of red and white in garb. The hall will be open at 5 pm and the feast will be served promptly at 6:30. Tickets for the feast are $7.50 before March 6 and $9.50 after.
Before March 6, tickets can be obtained by sending a SASE along with funds payable to BORDERWINDS to the Autocrat, Karen of the Emerald Sea (contact info omitted). After March 6, call for ticket reservations.
