From The Page (December, 1983):
The SHIRE OF WOLFSCAIRN invites one and all to a MIDWINTER FEAST on December 17th. Come celebrate with us in an evening of food, drink, and revelry. The Feast will be a potluck, so please bring a dish that will serve 8-10 people. Kitchen facilities will be available for warming dishes. Provide your own beverage and tourneyware. Please attempt to be as medieval as possible to add to the enjoyment of all, and bring your banners to add to the atmosphere.
Dancing, gaming, singing, and much more is planned for entertainment. Bring your chess sets and game boards, your dance shoes and voices. If you can help entertain, please contact the autocrat. Join in the fun. There will be contests and prizes. So come and enjoy, December 17, at 7 pm until midnight, at the Sebastopol Veteran's Building (same site as March Coronet revel).
Contests will include a competition for mulled cider or spiced wine. The prize will be bottled fruit. There will also be a competition for an original poem or song on any winter theme; this is vague on purpose. This must be performed (need not be by the author). Prize to be announced later.
Contact the autocrat for more information: Megan NicAlister (phone).
