From The Page (August, 1983):
Come and enjoy the pleasant climate and delicious sorbets (ice cream) and ices of the Shire of Totenwald. On Saturday, 27 August, the Shire of Totenwald will gather and celebrate the sweltering August heat by sampling various and sundry flavored ices and sorbets while amusing ourselves with all manner of games and diversions. There will be a round robin list for those who wish to enter, as well as board games for the sedentary and more active games for the energetic. A small donation will probably be solicited in order to defray the cost of dealing with the ice merchants in August.
