From The Page (April, 1984):
On April 28, 4-9 pm, the Shire of Pren Tal invites you to peruse the feast-table delights of Renaissance Italy! (The autocrat, being a Celt in Italy, promises all manner of befitting delights!) We shall partake of delicious antipastos, seasoned small birds, made dishes such as stuffed green pasta and rolls of seasoned beef, and many delicious vegetable dishes. The prize? $7.50, with children under the age of four for free. Due to the restrictions of our site (at Mitchell Park Community Center in Palo Alto, near Dragon Run), please do not bring hard liquor or red wine. And do bring both bowl and trencher, as the meal includes soup. (A very limited number of extras will be available.)
Obtain tickets from Jilara of Carrowlea (contact info omitted). Jilary will have some at Southern Shores meetings she attends, too. Directions to the site will be included with the tickets.
