From The Page (March, 1984):
Are you tired of having to slog across a whole, soggy, muddy soccer field just to get to the warmup tourney? And another to get to the privy? Well, this year the Province of the Mists has a new site for the warmup tourney. To get you all warmed up and ready for Crown and Coronet, we will gather at Arlington Park in El Cerrito on March 17. Setup will begin at 10am. (directions omitted). Remember, the winner of this list is the Champion of the Province for the year.
The Province of the Mists would like to invite all you lovers of love, lovers of revels, Irishmen, lucky people and lovers of luck to an evening of contests, games, and a little shuffling of symbols. Activities planned so far include the Name Game, Poetry Contest (theme: Love and related topics), Find the 4-Leaf Clover, and more to come.
The Lucky Lover Revel will immediately follow the warmup tourney at the same site (but inside). The doors will open at 6pm. There are no kitchen facilities. Picnic dinners and barbecue are encouraged. For information, call Patrice (phone).
* The Management asks me to inform you that there is no direct relationship between this revel and our current monarch.
