This will be a tour through seven hundred years, three cultures, and many delicious dishes from Constantiople. In addition to the food there will be pageantry, and a little amusement I call Byzantine Monopoly. The banquet will be held on Saturday April 21 (not the 14th as previously announced) at the Los Gatos Elks Lodge. Tickets are available from the autocrat for $7.50. (Checks should be made out to (mundane name).) Setup will begin at noon. The banquet is scheduled to start at 2 pm. We will have the hall all evening for the usual revelry.
Important Notice: The Elks Lodge will be selling drinks from their bar -- their policy does not allow other alcohol to be brought in. A nonalcoholic beverage will be served with the banquet.
