Contests to be held are:
Calligraphy - sponsored by Cynagua's herald; rules in this issue.
Period drinking vessel - spnsored by Orisin of the Golden Sword. Rules:
1. Must be made by period materials, i.e., Viking horn from cow's horn.
2. Vessel must be made by entrant (no commercial product allowed).
3. If vessel style or material is not familiar to general populace, document.
The prize for the winner is a bottle of Napoleon brandy.
The Lady of the Swan would like someone to hold a groveling and gurning contest. Anyone interested please contact me.
Also, do not forget the auction to be held. If you have an item, please contact Panacea Wyrtcunning (contact info omitted).
The Lord and Lady of the Swan would like to be entertained. Anyone having appropriate entertainment please contact the autocrat.
This is a potluck, and the following is a guide for your use: A-F salad or vegetable; G-K breads; L-S main dish; T-Z dessert.
Any decorations you have that can be used would be greatly appreciated.
Morley or Less will perform medieval songs for the assembled multitudes after dinner.
No smoking is allowed in the main hall. There are anterooms for smoking. Please consider others.
