THE SHIRE OF VAKKERFJELL is honored to host this year's Summer Investiture. This will be a two-day event, July 16-17, and will include a Lord Defender Tournament on Sunday 17 July. The tourney is open to all fighters within the Principality of Cynagua, so bring your swords and armor.

Anyone wishing to sponsor a contest, provide entertainment, etc., contact the autocrat, Lady Reanna, Lady Mirriam Francois or Lord Cairn de Vigne, at (phone).

The site of this event will be Lions Grove in Riverfront Park, Marysville, and will be open for setup at 6 pm, Friday 15 July. Boat launching is available at the park, as well as swimming, but there will be no lifeguards, so watch your children. The city has a leash law; pet owners be advised. Mundane activities may be going on at other areas of the park, such as baseball, races, etc., for those who like to wander about. Riverfront Park is 3-4 miles long, with paved access roads.
