From The Page (December, 1982):
Once again the Shire of Windy Meads is happy to present its fifth annual Feast and Revel of St. Meryk (albeit a bit late...) on December 4, AS XVII. As it was last year, it will be somewhat potluck in nature. The shire will provide the main dishes. Guests wfrom elsewhere should bring things according to this list: (Mundane last name...) A-H: bring side dishes; I-P bring bread and beverages; Q-Z: bring desserts... If you what you want to make doesn't fit in, go ahead and make it anyway...Also, if you have any special drink you want, please bring it yourself.
There will be music and (if we can clear enough space) perhaps dancing. All entertainers and/or music tapes would be appreciated. The doors open at 6PM and the feast will start at 7PM.
The feast will be held at the home of the seneschale, Elaine of Deloraine, (address and directions omitted). If you have any questions call Carl of Ravenshore at (phone).
