The Annual Provincial Championship
and Warm-up-for-Crown-Tourney Tourney
and Belated Valentine's Day Revel
(in cooperation with the College of St. Katherine's)
Saturday, Marhc 12, XVII
Meadows Playfield, Tilden Park (Tourney)
Haas Clubhouse, U.C. Berkeley (Revel)
At the tourney: There will be the usual, traditional Provincial Championship Tourney. The prize is the title, a loaf of bread, and a jug of wine (privide your own Thou). There will also be hunker-hauser, an on-the-spot heraldry cotest, and other games, jollities, and relaxation.
At the revel: Despite the somewhat late date, we will have all the traditional competitions of the Valentine Day Revel. Best Love Poem, Best Favor, Best Subtlety (edible) , and a secret contest.
The tourney site is free, but non-reservable. Come early. The revel site is reserved but not free. We ask a $2 per person donation to cover the cost of hall rental. The hall is "dry" -- be discreet.
For further details, the Autocrat is Nicorlynn of Caer Wydyr (see Regnum) ...
