From The Page (May, 1982):
All and sundry are invited to the Investiture of the new sovereigns of the Principality of the MIsts at Earl Warren Park in Hayward. Since this is to take place on May 1st the day will be spent in a May Day Celebration.
The tentative Schedule for the day will be:

There will be some outdoor games available for use during the day (tug of war rope, tweizlebob log, etc.). If you have access to other games please bring them.
The revel will be held at George Weekes Community Center. There will be a potluck dinner at 6:30 pm in the "Potluck Bransle" fashion started at the last Investiture. (Your contribution should feed 6-7 people, and please remember to bring your own plate, utensils, and drinks (no hard liquor allowed)). The hall has kitchen facilities for warming.
Following dinner there will be a Grand March, and a Court to announce the winners of the contests. The rest of the evening will be spent dancing and reveling.
