Coronet Tournament -- Principality of Cynagua
May 29-31, 1982 (AS XVII)

This event will be held at Cedar Grove, Bidwell Park in Chico. The site is a meadow with adjacent picnic area (tables and 2 barbeque pits). Set-up begins at 6:30 pm Friday. The picnic area is reserved from 6:30 pm Friday to 9 am Sat. and 6:30 pm Sat. to 9 am Sun. City regulations restrict the use of Coleman stoves, Hibachis, etc. to the picnic area only.

The Shire of the Fallen Oak will be sponsoring a cooking contest for desserts of all kinds. Entrise will be auctioned off to benefit the Shire Fund (Containers will become the property of the purchaser). Judging will be on flavor, authenticity, appearance, and originality, in that order. Please include your recipe, with your name and address. Three prizes will be awarded. Plus a special prize for the entry that brings the most in the auction. Recipes will be published and all contestants will receive a complimentary copy.

Have you ever wanted to whomp on people as experienced as you?

If you answered yes to one or all of the above questions, this is the event for you!

THe eventw ill be held the 3rd day of Cynagua's Coronet Tourney (Memorial Day weekend) and all unbelted fighters (from all areas) are welcome. (Fighter may be bribed to fight for someone else for the prizes.) Admission fee will be $2.00. The event will consist of two contests, both of which will be judged on a point system to determine the winner.

The two contests are: a lists and a timed multiple death battle.

The prizes are as follows: 1st - 5 oz of zilver, 2nd - a wooden bowl and plate, and 3rd - a six pack of porter. All the proceeds will be donated to the Province of Golden Rivers. For more information call or write: Lady Kathleen de Tara (contact info omitted).
